Hi there, id like to kbow if you can help me out and guide me a little. Well, I'm only 23 and I came across this job description and it seems very interesting.

Id like to know whether I'd be qualified to start any training necessary for this career?

Where could I find this information, how long is the process, what are the requirements and are women allowed to take on this career?

Hope to hear back from you

Women in UXO Field
by: Steve Cassidy

Absolutely I recommend women to take a series look at the UXO field.

Yes it's physically demanding but so what, the money is great and the money is the same. Man or Woman. Your pay falls under the Federal Wage Determination Rate.

I worked with a young lady a couple of years ago that had her Bachelors in Geology. She was serving as a geologist on a UXO Grid and was able to talk with the UXO Technicians. When she found out how much we make, she borrowed the money and went to school.

When we last spoke, she was able to pay back the money she borrowed to attend UXO school and pay off her student loans for her Bachelor's Degree.

She outworked a lot of the guys and didn't complain once. She was smart and physically fit.

On the flip side, I met a woman on another UXO Grid and she lasted about 2 days. Completely unprepared for work physically. I honestly don't know how she finished UXO school.

Be physically fit first knowing it's hard work.

If you have the work ethic and are fit, go for it.
